iNex Sourcing, the waste detection tool for waste collectors or recyclers, energy companies and industrial buyers of raw materials.

iNex team

Biogas stakeholders lack centralized, accurate and real-time information on the location of waste. Yet this is absolutely essential for sourcing waste, motivating investment decisions and optimizing plant supply. Current solutions such as door-to-door studies or Excel reports – are expensive, time-consuming and often limited to the energy companies’ own network.

That is why many plants operate under capacity; sales teams lose valuable time; plant projects are abandoned or lost.
iNex circular created a tool that detects industrial and agricultural biowaste everywhere in Europe. Using open-data and datamining, the iNex Sourcing tool generates information about relevant waste deposits (type, location, tonnage, methanogenic power…). Developed to optimize the choice of a new unit location or to supply existing units, iNex Sourcing is currently used for methanation by Engie, Veolia, GRDF, Naskeo…

How does it work ?

Our robots browse and aggregate relevant data available online. This method guarantees a permanent and automated update of the data. From several hundred open-data sources as well as real or declarative data, our algorithms create sector profiles thanks to statistical recurrence. These profiles enable iNex circular to simulate the waste deposits of companies all over Europe without directly mobilizing them. Finally, our models refine the profiles and customize them with specific data for each company. The company files are then enriched with the essential data for canvassing : telephone number and email of prospects.

Created in 2017, iNex circular is currently used by biogas experts like Veolia, Engie, GRDF, Naskeo and by local authorities like the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Oise, the Rhône-Alpes region or the Walloon government.

Our expertise in France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands has been supported and rewarded by key European players of the circular economy such as the ADEME, the European Investment Bank, Team 2, InnoEnergy,, U-Start by Veolia, l’X from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Solar Impulse Foundation.

In January 2020, iNex Circular raised a 1 000 000 € funds. Much of this investment will be focused on accelerating the European development of iNex sourcing technology.

On May 17, 2021, Barbara Pompili, Minister of Ecological Transition, Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery and Alain Griset, Minister Delegate in charge of Small and Medium Enterprises unveiled the projects selected to benefit from the financial support from ADEME within the framework of France Relance. iNex circular is one of the 134 French companies that have been selected as Company Committed to the Ecological Transition!
