Description
Alphacarb BGS and Alphacarb BGS-H are an extruded media produced from selected high grade activated carbons. It has been specially designed to overcome the harshest conditions. Alphacarb BGS-H under optimal operating conditions can achieve H2S removal capacity values above 50% w/w, and for Alphacarb BGS H2S removal capacity values above 70% w/w can be achieved.
These products are widely used in biogas desulfurization, reaching their maximum performance when the H2S-O2 ratio is around 1:2. Other parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, pressure or residence time, among others, influence their overall performance.
